A brief item on Page B2 yesterday, “From the U-T Politics Blog,” incorrectly listed the last name of Artie “Chip” Owen, chairman of the Southeastern Economic Development Corp., as Shaw.

Because of incorrect information from a source, a story on Page B1 on Tuesday about the discontinuation of express buses to Charger games mistakenly said that the Metropolitan Transit Service is seeking permission from the Federal Transit Administration to operate the service on weeknights. Metropolitan Transit is seeking to operate the express service on weekends.
